Taking a lead from the Robert J. Dole VA Center Veteran, KS4Vets has partnered with several organizations and groups to create their own Whole Health Initiatives in Central Kansas.
Through a partnership with Sunflower Yoga in Hutchinson, KS veterans can take yoga/meditation classes on Thursdays at noon starting in 2021 (COVID-19 pending). Instructor, Brian Martin E-RYT 200, has been trained through YOGA WARRIORS INTERNATIONAL. This training has provided Brian with advanced knowledge and practical tools to work with combat veterans diagnosed with COSR or PTSD. This method skillfully integrates concepts from yoga therapy, traditional yoga philosophy, and psychology, with current scientific knowledge of the body and mind to promote health and well-being.
