She has served as a Veteran Advocate for years in different capacities. At Gentiva Hospice she is leading the Veterans program covering a multi-county territory. Gentiva Hospice currently holds a level five status in their We Honor Veterans program.

Brandy Harris
Served as a veteran advocate for
Gentiva Hospice for 2 years.
Brandy has expanded the Gentiva We Honor Veterans program within a multi-county territory, even visiting Capitol Hill to offer insight on how to help veterans at the end of life.
Through her shared work, CKVCP eventually evolved into KS 4 Vets.

Curtis "CJ" Jefferis
Served 6 years in the Navy.
Serves as a 20+ year member of American Legion Post 68
19-year member of Hutchinson VFW and then became a charter member of the South Hutchinson VFW Post 12157.
He is also a member of both American Legion & VFW Riders and is a local Hutchinson Community College alumnus.
CJ has also served on several community boards and has been a Gentiva Hospice & Traditions Hospice Veteran Volunteer for several years, helping walk our dying Veterans home.
Through his shared work, Central Kansas Veterans Coalition came to be and eventually evolved into CKVCP, and finally, KS 4 Vets.
CJ is also Jr. Vice Commander and the Post Surgeon at VFW Post 12157 (in South Hutchinson).

Loxi Sykes
Served in the Navy, participating in Operation Baby Lift during the Vietnam War.
Loxi now volunteers with many Veteran service organizations.
Through her shared work, CKVCP eventually evolved into KS 4 Vets

Loxi is also the American Legion Post 68 (in Hutchinson) Adjutant and handles the membership.

With an MBA from Loyola University and a BS from the University of Kansas, Marla brings over 15 years of leadership experience to the community. In addition to founding

In addition to founding the Vieyra Honors Foundation, Marla has served on numerous local boards and committees, including the Leadership Reno County Board, Big Brothers Big Sisters Board, United Way of Reno County Allocations and Community Impact Grant Committees, the Hutch Rec Foundation Board, and the Historic Fox Theater Board. .

Nicholas is a United States Army Veteran and a Veteran Service Representative for the Kansas Office of Veteran Services.

Jacob is a United States Army Veteran and is the District Surgeon for 5th District, Department of Kansas VFW.
Jacob is a bord member and manages the KS4VETS website.
